Roof Cleaning Services

Roof washing can extend the life of your roof by 10 - 15 years with proper preventative maintenance!

We follow the ARMA's (Asphalt Roofing Manufacture Association) recommended cleaning process as not to void any warranty you may have with your current roof. We go through a soft wash process as not to damage the shingles and keep your roof in pristine condition. If you see dark streaks, mold, lichen, or moss starting to grow on your roof, reach out to us right away. A roof cleaning is a fraction of what it would be to replace and can help extend the life of your roof by not allowing moss to grow roots and push up in between your shingles.

  • Is Soft Washing an Asphalt Roof Safe?

Soft Washing an Asphalt Roof is safe when the hired contractor has been properly trained and is up to date on the manufacture's recommended cleaning guidelines.  We use low pressure to apply the approved cleaning solution to sanitize and clean any unwanted organic growth.  This will keep the integrity of your shingles in the best shape for years to come.

  • Can you pressure wash a roof with no chemicals?

You could, but you would be voiding any outstanding warranty and cause irreversible damage.  The granules of the shingles are embedded to protect against heat and absorb light, defend from inclement weather as well as protect the asphalt layer and fiberglass mat underneath.

  • Added Information on a Roof Cleaning Service

If the roof has heavy moss and lichen, there may still be some organic growth still on the roof after it has been treated.  This is a process as to preserve the shingles as best as possible while trusting the process.   You may notice that where moss and lichen once were has now turned white.  This is the result of the organism slowly dying and over time when drying out will naturally detach without pulling any of the shingle grit with it.
